- Founded on 18 Aug 2017, Tails of Compassion (ToC) provides a dignified and loving environment to specially-abled and senior dogs who cannot survive on the streets on their own and are often considered for euthanasia.
- Our mission is to give a fighting chance to our dogs, enhance their quality of life, and provide a stimulating environment. Each dog arrives with a traumatic past—some are victims of accidents, while others have suffered from cruelty.
- At our shelter home, we care for over 120 dogs, including more than 80 differently-abled dogs. These dogs may be paralyzed, two-legged, blind, immobile, or very senior.
- Our focus is unique, as there are few shelter homes that cater specifically to the needs of specially-abled and senior dogs.
- In many cases, NGOs and veterinarians often recommend euthanasia for paralyzed dogs, assuming they have no quality of life.
- Our work is different, as we aim to close the chapter on these dogs' traumatic pasts and provide them with a beautiful present, giving them the care and love they deserve.

Refund policy
Refund PolicyAs a non-profit organization, Tails of Compassion relies on the generosity of donors to care for our animals.
Donations: deeply appreciate your support. Please note that donations once made are non-refundable. This is because the funds are immediately allocated towards the food, medicine, and care of the dogs. Errors: If you have made a duplicate donation or a transaction error occurred (e.g., money deducted twice), please contact us immediately at tailsofcompassion@gmail.com with proof of the transaction. We will investigate the issue with the payment gateway and process a refund for the duplicate amount if verified, within 7-10 working days.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy One-time Donations: Once a one-time donation is processed, it cannot be cancelled. Recurring/Monthly Donations: If you have subscribed to a monthly donation plan (e.g., "Make Compassion a Monthly Habit"), you may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, please email us at tailsofcompassion@gmail.com or use the link provided in your donation confirmation email. The cancellation will be effective for the next billing cycle, and no further deductions will be made.
